jerzz - new dimension ep

jerzz' new dimension ep is not for the faint of heart. our own techno mercenary is not afraid to scare, and does so in his very own way. indeed, new dimension ep will scare you in its blunt- and effectiveness. giving you no time to accomodate, it starts off with hard stomp (which does a pretty good job at describing itself). the terror-ish synth loops in the subtly named don't fuck my testikelz float on a thundering bass, with eerie sounds in the background. last track 1 does a more subtle job: without bringing on pure sonic violence, this track also proves to be a very nice and well done techno stomper.
summarizing: this ep is not for people with pacemakers.

urban sounds - urban soundscapes

tn_sc00136.jpg

now here's something you won't get around so easily. a first-time on sublogic, this is a whole album, made by anssi hohti a.k.a. a98 under one of his alternative handles urban sounds. one track, dead end has been previously released here, but now, 9 more are added.
i will not bore you with individual descriptions of them all. the whole can be descibes as "emotional electronic music that floats between (near-cheesy) trance and ambient". for details, i can only advise you to take a listen.

subatomic vision - b's and bytes

our local psy-man subatomic vision is apparently making up for having kept himself silent for nearly a year: first there was "n00b" (SC00129), and right here and now, there's some more where that came from!
but enough of that. this track may be looked upon as "mildly disturbing", "insane dark hauntedness" or anything in between, depending on what amount of madness you are used to. weird effects, combined with a solid and deep drive and slow, gradual buildup make this track a pounding trip into a hive. why, isn't that great? i'd say yeah. enjoy.

yasahi - backdoor ep

tn_sc00134.jpg

after the hypnotizing "cure" (SC00127), yasahi (our own sonicasy in disguise) brings us more hypnotizing melancholia.
first track "it's all about remembering" has a very eerie atmosphere, breathing both sadness and warmth and the same time.
after that, electro-styled "passing minds" kicks in; a kicking bassline combined with some beautiful reversely amped melodies.
"back up" finishes the job nicely by turning the beat up some more: a rocking electro rhythm is the drive in this superb track while sweet portamento melodies are poured over it.
this ep shows yasahi's skills at shaping moody tracks at well as making kick-ass electro. well done!

xyto - maxbroks

dark, intense, techy.... we welcome a guestrelease by xyto to our humble label space! 5 minutes of heavy goa/psy madness, featuring rumbling basses, blinky effects, and superb structure. this is where techno meats goa!

jerzz - b.a.n.

tn_sc00132.jpg

we don't know exactly what hallucinogenics jerzz is on, but we would like some of it ourselves! at least, if we'd start making tracks like this, that is. prepare for some weird, weird techno coming your way. highly original as it is unusual, this is some psycho stuff you don't want to miss...

u.d.o. - trash-tec

while udo's previous guestrelease was an icey dub track, this one is probably closer to what udo likes making best: tight, fastpaced techno tracks. fast loops, hysteric percussion, distorted saw riffs, it's all in the mix!

we're proud to present you a guestrelease by scene legend missing organ! he brings us a weird, slowpaced track that takes a couple of listens to fully appreciate. simple yet sophiscated, slow but energizing. gotta check this one!

subatomic vision - n00b

finally, a new release from subatomic vision! n00b has been on the stack for some time, and after a thorough mastering phase it has now been released. n00b is a banging full-on goa track chocked full with ripping synth lines, 303 parts and funny vocal samples. without a doubt this is subatomic vision's best release on sublogic to date. and note the great mastering! :)
