kars was born on may the 15th, 1985, somewhere in holland. starting at quite the young age he spent a good deal of his waking time making music or otherwise involved in it. at 12, he fired up fasttracker 2 on his 486, and was found to be stuck to it on several occasions. it took around two years for him to really get the hang of it, and he made some pretty good tracks, one of which was played on local radio and in a club.

in 2000 or thereabouts, he found a new program: madtracker. he spent another few years using this, and produced the track follow me to fantasy (SCT0094) with it, among a lot of others. in late 2001 the switch was made to fruity loops, which he has been using to this day. as samples and plugins accumulated, vibenation found it almost impossible to stop putting time into his musicmaking. his sound 'grew up', as a way of speaking, and became more and more his own, both in terms of style and of quality.

remarkably, kars creates both commercial-styled and undergroundish tracks, as if there were no distinction between them, and that's a good thing, because this variation makes sure he never grows bored producing. now, in 2005, the future is looking brighter than ever, with commercial releases nearing, as well as providing netlabels like this one with fresh and interesting material.
