only about as late as 2001, peter first came in touch with the then already venerable impulse tracker. he was lucky to have our very own nick van der schilden (a.k.a. saiko) as a colleague, and learned the necessary tricks from him; otherwise, it would have been unlikely we had ever even heard of him. only some months after these beginning steps, nick introduced him to tripwire and cadra - founders of this here label. peter started learning even more from his new acquaintances, but being accepted as a member would remain a dream for some time to come. after all, he was only 12 at the time, and though he showed potential, was still not very experienced. but he wouldn't stop.

some time in 2002, peter, like many others growing weary of impulse tracker's limitations, started working with jeskola buzz. at that point, not his tools but the processing power of his pc became the limitation, and this forced his musical style towards minimalism. some will agree that limitations promote general creativity, and it certainly worked in this case. a year or two went by, music was produced, but then buzz got ditched for being buggy, unstable, and quite undeniably beaten by the sheer power of renoise.

together with saiko, working under the handle plantbane, he made it onto sublogic in style with the release of the last ingredients in 2004. even though we didn't expect it to happen on such short notice, we're glad to have him along. indeed, more of his music *will* show up on this site.

peter has certainly developed a style of his own through the years, even if 'through the years' comprises only four of them. considering this, and him being only 16 years of age at present, this is quite an achievement. peter's goal is to improve his skills in all genres he exercises and remain original at all times in doing so. he detests the lack of originality found in music so commonly nowadays, and strives to make a stand against this, simply by being his creative self.
